Initial group ideas

When it came to our groups initial ideas on what we could do to explore a Dolls House in a Punchdrunk setting, we had alot of variedy ideas. For example on ways in which we could set up each room to be and how we would start the piece just so we had a foundation that we could add on.

The initial idea that stood out to the group on how we could bring our piece together was starting the piece off as an argument between everyone in the first room that everyone starts in and then stop and run off after a short period of time. We thought this would be a good way to add in a sense of drama and also show the audience which rooms now have characters so they may have a better idea of who they want to follow after seeing each different character during the argument and how they handled it.

What Interests me about this group project

When it comes to this group project, What interests me the most is in that we are being able to create our own piece of in what I see as interactive theatre as the audience has free range to do whatever they desire. I am excited to work with the different elements in combining dance with acting to create a fully immersive piece of theatre that will not only entertain our audience but also allow them to learn something as well.

What am I nervous about

When it comes to what I am nervous about when it comes to this project, I am quite nervous in that we have been given a short amount of time to create this piece of theatre. Which means that we will need to use our time wisely and work around people being possible ill and/or off from college.
