rehearsal blog #8
Date : 20th March
Group members present : Chloe, Sam, Emma, Melissa, Adama, Saskia
Todays rehearsal was quite a small one in where we only spent around 1hr going through one scene, which was the argument as this scene incorporated moving from room to room while chair duets were happening, so we dedicated this rehearsal to really polishing off this scene as this was going to be our most impactful scene that happens during the performance.

No videos or images apparent/ recorded from this session.Moments of discovery or concerns/ problems
In todays lesson we discovered some area of our original idea for this scene were not going to work out how we wanted them to so we had to over come this by re imagining how we wanted the scene to flow. We started by doing this by making this scene flow between two blocks, In which the main bulk of the argument would take place in block one only in one room and then in the second block we would introduce the argument moving around so that we could still keep the moving element of our original idea. The biggest issue of this that we discovered was the timings that we had, this was in that the timing of joining each others scenes where not adding up, so we had to time it in such a way were this would not become an issue and that the argument could join other rooms scenes at any times without interfering with the other scene.
By the end of the lesson we had finally got this scene cleaned up and perfected which was a massive relief for us in that we would not have to worry about it going wrong to much and having to much of a knock on effect for the rest of the production.
Resources used today
When it came to the resources that we used today to make sure that we got this scene done to the best of its ability, we used the script that we had created for it, along with any chorography that we needed along side it.
Reflection on my contribution to the group and how well the group as a whole worked today
When it came to my contribution to todays rehearsal, I think that I contributed very well and effectively bearing in mind that I did not have much to work on and do. When it came to what I did to help contribute with the group today, I focused on getting me and my partners chair duet done and polished and also giving feedback on the argument that they others were working on. As a group we all worked well together, using everyone's strengths to make sure that we used our limited time effectively to finish off this scene.
